Kingswood – Day 3 update
Our Wednesday on the Isle of Wight has been filled with high adrenaline, beach adventures and lots of new outdoor learning opportunities.
What a day it’s been! After yesterday evening’s lovely campfire session (complete with songs and toasted marshmallows), we started the day with yet another excellent breakfast. All of the children have been fantastic during meal times and the catering staff have commented on what good eaters they all are (of course the teachers have been leading by example!).
The children had a busy morning of activities, including: the 3G swing, zip wire, fire lighting and shelter building. This afternoon we walked to the beautiful beach at Bembridge and have been exploring rock pools and painting our faces with natural chalk found on the beach.
All of the children are now relaxing watching a film, with tummies full of lasagne and glowing cheeks from the fresh sea air!
