Badger Class Fun!

Badger Class Fun!

We have been having so much fun in Badger class! The story ‘What the ladybird heard’ by Julia Donaldson has taken us on lots of different pathways. We have acted out the story during PE, investigated adjectives and noun phrases when describing the different animal characters, we invented an award for the hero ladybird and we even turned into police officers and interviewed the characters to find out more about the farmyard crime. We now know what question marks are for and have had fun noticing them in our reading books.

Our science has been all about animals and mini beasts and after investigating the micro habitats in Wiggery Wood, we made our own ones in class. We now have a new mini beast display on our wall with carefully painted salt dough mini beasts which we really enjoyed making!

Here is a small selection of photographs of our journey so far…
