Remembrance Assembly

Remembrance Assembly

The children of St Giles enjoyed a very thoughtful Remembrance themed assembly this morning lead by Mr Vidler. We counted poppies and then tried to remember how many there were, we tried to remember our first ever toy and then talked about how it made us feel to remember them, we listened to a thoughtful story about ‘Peace’ and we sang about ‘Peace’ whilst Mr Vidler played his guitar.

Our assembly started and finished by thinking about the soldiers who have died in the wars, as we softly sang our Remembrance song, with the school band proudly playing alongside.

Thank you to all our families for supporting this year’s Poppy appeal when buying poppies, bracelets and wristbands.
