We have had a brilliant and busy week in Hedgehog class. We have continued our measuring fun this week when we read the story ‘Jim and the Beanstalk’. We found the story really funny and we decided to make our own super large glasses for the giant! We also measured our heads like Jim does in the story and made our own crowns.
We were also very clever this week and we practised using rulers to measure in cm’s! We then had our very own experiment to see how far cars go down different sized ramps. We also tried our ramps on different floors to see whether that changed our results! We found out that the carpet wasn’t very good because it was "lumpy"!
During the week we also talked about Harvest Festival. We had a try of different fruits and vegetables and decided which one we liked best. Pepper proved the most popular and the tomatoes were the least popular!
